DESCRIPTION:Weeding Wednesdays with The Crest at Willow-Witt Ranch! \nWednesdays\, from August 12 – September 16\, 10am – 12pm\n \nThis weekly work party teaches participants how to identify and manage invasive species. Gather together to learn\, explore\, and practice conservation in community. All ages welcome\, no experience necessary. \n\n \nBring work gloves\, sunscreen\, water bottles\, and a positive attitude. Please leave dogs at home. \n \nWork will be followed by an opportunity to enjoy lunch together\, so bring your favorite fuel. Willow-Witt will provide a garden salad. Those that attend all six events in the series will receive a Sunday Afternoons Crest sun cap! \n \nLet us know who you are and which Weeding Wednesdays you’ll be attending here!\n \n\nAnd if you’re a new volunteer to The Crest\, please fill out this waiver. If you forget\, we’ll have paper copies to fill out when you arrive on site. \n

SUMMARY:Autumn Equinox Celebration at The Forest
DESCRIPTION:Gather together to celebrate the changing of the seasons: goodbye summer\, hello fall!  \nEach quarter surrounding the equinox and solstices\, we hold community gatherings to honor the seasons and introduce people to the burial ground. This autumn\, we’re thrilled to announce that local artist Cory Glory is leading us in a community mandala making session at the entrance to the cemetery. Glory will use natural materials from our farm and forest to create an altar and environment of beauty\, celebration\, inspiration\, healing and wonder. We will break for lunch (BYO picnic!) and then provide a group tour of the burial grounds at 12:30. We will be available until 2pm to chat\, answer questions\, and bask in the glory of the seasons. Join us!  \nParticipants are invited to join us for any portion of this free event. All ages welcome\, please leave dogs at home.  \n10am – Community Mandala making with Cory Glory \n12pm – BYO picnic  \n12:30 – Guided group tour of the burial grounds  \nInterested in attending?
